California Students Have Two Pound Joint Confiscated On 4/20

This past Saturday, marijuana smokers all over the country celebrated 4/20, but few had plans to celebrate like a group of students at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The students successfully rolled a 2-pound joint, though as they were prepping to smoke it, campus police spoiled the fun.

An officer was pictured carrying the ridiculously large joint, which looked to be almost 3 feet long. UCSC's 4/20 celebration is typically populated by over 1,000 people, and shutting down the event would cost more than patrolling it.

In a recent New York Times article, they suggested a joint in California is the "equivalent of a beer in a paper bag on the streets of Greenwich Village."
